Clay McLaurin’s New Stripe Collection

Monday, September 12th, 2016

Clay McLaurin, whose earthy line of fabrics is one of our favorites here in the showroom, just debuted a new stripe collection that is absolutely drool-worthy.

Each design is digitally printed on beautiful Belgian linen upholstery weight fabric – great for a handsome chair or summery drapes. We are very excited to see these guys put to use. They look perfectly at home here on the beach, flawlessly coordinating with the cool sandy, drift wood neutrals.

Ashley Woodson Bailey Wallpaper

Monday, January 25th, 2016

Ashley Woodson Bailey is a seasoned florist and self-taught photographer, using her lens to capture fleeting moments in the lives of her flowers; from fresh, dewy blossom to withered, dying stalk. These photographs, of course, translated flawlessly to a brooding and romantic wallpaper collection now available at Studio Four NYC.

The grandiose scale of the wallpaper maximizes the drama of her photographs, while the dream-like styling reminds us of a Gothic romance novel. And our salespeople are happy to work with you in laying out these beautiful blossoms to best suit your room design.

Bonsai Beauty

Friday, July 25th, 2014

Happy Friday! I have so many wonderful new textiles to share with you all on the blog next week. Still trying to get all the new things together and photographed. But in the mean time, have you seen these photographs of bonsai trees floating in space by Japanese artist, Azuma Makoto? They are incredible!

Here’s a little eye candy for your Friday, and hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

SoCal Sunshine

Thursday, February 20th, 2014

I’m headed to LA on Friday and can’t wait to get a break from the winter slush that is currently NYC. Lately I’ve been feeling very inspired by black and white photography. We are putting together a Design on a Dime vignette with the lovely Sara Gilbane, and classic black and white photography has definitely influenced the design process (more details on that project to come soon).

Anyways, one of my favorite photographers is Anthony Friedkin. Here are a few of his photos that are getting me excited for a little SoCal sunshine and relaxation…
