It’s always so fun designing spaces for the little ones in our lives. Hibou Home wallpaper allows us to create playful spaces that cultivate big imaginations. Do you have a little wolf or stargazer? Maybe an aspiring horse rider or cowboy?
Even though we’re truly sad that summer is coming to an end, we are so ready for Fall weather and Fall colors. What better way to welcome changing leaves and warm lattes, than with rich jewel tones with fresh pops of orange and blue. Roksanda’s mix of rich textures bring this color palette to the next level – coordinating perfectly with some of our favorite picks from the showroom.

We have become obsessed lately with this gang of handmade critters by the very sweet Abigail Brown out of London. Her collection of work is made up of whimsical creatures in ceremonial garb, meticulously colored flocks of birds, and these adorable animal heads which are available in our online shop, The Market.
These guys perfectly compliment our pattern filled space and add so much lovely character. They’re great for kids’ spaces, but also fun for adult spaces (we’re talking to you Mr. Sloth).
If you decide to adopt only one of these little guys or a whole brood (they make one big happy family), we hope they bring cheer and happiness to every soul who sees them.

Last August I visited the magical city of Stockholm. It was the perfect summer getaway from 90 plus degree NYC heat, in fact I’ve decided in my perfect imaginary world I would be able to spend every August in Sweden. The food is delicious, weather couldn’t be better and the people are so welcoming. My only worry before I went was that I didn’t know enough about the city, and I was in search of that perfect city guide. Lucky for me my awesome friend and former New Yorker, Erin Bonnier, is now a Stockholm resident and she took fabulous care of me on my adventure.
Now Erin has recently launched a new site that I am so excited to share with all of you. Stockholm Lokal is an edited guide to all things Stockholm. It’s a perfect blend of interesting articles, crazy beautiful photos and lots of great culture/ shopping/ dining tips for anyone thinking of booking a Stockholm adventure!
Over on The Market you’ll find a curated selection of our favorite decor items and accessories. Since indulgent beach picnics are on our mind, we’d like to share with you some of the best summer goodies that will make your next trip to the beach effortlessly cool.
Here at Studio Four, we love a well made cocktail; especially one that captures all the tastes of summer. And what better to go with our dog day tonic, than Wayne Pate‘s cool exotic style.
Palomas: Combine 4 1/2 cups of grapefruit soda, juice from 6 limes, and 1 1/2 cups of silver tequila. Pour over ice filled glass and garnish with a wedge of lemon and/or lime.
One of the things we value most at Studio Four is our relationship with all of our wonderful clients. A lot of what we make and customize is greatly influenced by what you ask for and what you tell us is missing in the market.
Back in 2015 we released a collection of wallpapers with the the crazy fun and talented Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors fame. The patterns have been a big hit over the past year- I even have one installed in my own powder bath. But we kept getting feedback from designers that you’d love to see our Hunan design as a fabric.
So guess what?! We listened and here you have it, Hunan the fabric!
This worked out so brilliantly that we are now working on a fabric version of one of our Wayne Pate wallpapers. So check back in this Fall and we hope to have a couple of new fun surprises for you!
Add dimension to palettes of black and white with a touch of softness, a la Moncler. Rebecca Atwood tackles this high contrast scheme like a breath of cool fresh air, incorporating her watercolor techniques and floral whimsy. Stop by the showroom to check out her full collection of black and white fabrics!
The latest thing to drop in the showroom has been this amazing collection of wallpapers and fabrics from our favorite vintage textile purveyors, St. Frank. They have tirelessly sourced vintage and handmade fabrics from around the world to bring us a collection of goods “by the yard” to satisfy all our textile junkie cravings.
The products are made from meticulously scanned and manipulated textiles like woven Kuba pieces from the Congo and dyed Indigo fabric from Mali. The end result is dramatic but inviting wall-coverings and upholstery weight fabrics that bring the world into focus.
Their booth at ICFF showcased their new wallcoverings next to their classic framed treasures and we could have easily walked out of there with the whole collection if our bank accounts allowed it. We cannot wait to see how these will be incorporated into some truly beautiful spaces.
Call or stop by the showroom for samples and trade pricing!
