Ambriel Floyd + Acne Studios

Monday, December 12th, 2016

Sometimes it’s the unexpected color combinations that make the biggest impression. Color master Ambriel Floyd uses color and sharp geometric shapes in careful balance to immediately add interest to any room. And Acne Studios uses the same formula to capture looks that are uniquely daring.

We are very excited to share that Elson & Company is now part of the Studio Four NYC family!

They are purveyors of the finest handmade rugs with designer lines from Oscar de la Renta, Jeffrey Bilhuber, Lulu DK, and Kathryn M. Ireland. The designs are fully customize-able in size and color, and are handwoven by skilled weavers in Nepal and India. Each piece is an individual work of art and a timeless investment.

We have an amazing library of samples for you to browse, and you can work with one of our skilled salespeople to customize the rug for your project.

Wayne Pate + Studio Four NYC

Friday, May 13th, 2016

Over the last year we have had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with Brooklyn artist, Wayne Pate, on a stunning collection of wallpapers and fabrics. If you aren’t familiar with Wayne’s work then stop now and check him out here … you can thank me later!

Stacy and I immediately fell in love with Wayne’s style, especially the intricate patterns that can be seen as backgrounds or botanical accents in his paintings. He is a long time admirer of textiles, and his home is one of the most comfortable and lovely places that I have ever been lucky enough to have a work meeting. To set the scene, upon entering I get offered an espresso or glass of rose and then we dive into sorting through his latest paintings (all of which I want to steal to make my own little Wayne Pate gallery at home).

But let’s get on to the juicy stuff (the pictures)! I am beyond thrilled to introduce you all to our new textile and wallpaper babies. Please come visit us in the showroom soon to see these beauties in person. We will also be offering ready made pillows in our online shop soon- yippee!

And last but certainly not least, THANK YOU to wonderful Wayne for making this magic happen!

Anna Spiro Textiles

Friday, May 6th, 2016

Studio Four is lucky enough to be home to all sorts of gorgeous textile lines from across the globe. Later this month, we will be welcoming a new vendor to our showroom.

The fabulous Brisbane based designer, Anna Spiro, is launching her debut textile collection here in a few weeks. I gotta admit, I feel kind of like a little kid waiting on Santa to finally arrive. Anna has such a brilliant talent for working with color and pattern.

So far I have just seen little sneak peeks of her new collection, but I know it is sure to be stunning in every way. Here are a few insider pics of the textile magic that is headed to Studio Four NYC super soon…
