Lindsay Alker East Sussex, England

British textile wonder Lindsay Alker's handscreened fabrics and wallpapers are inspired by Arts and Crafts handblocked designs. Designed with lino-blocks and hand silkscreened in England, the collection features the signature print 'Battle Great Wood' complemented with contemporary geometric patterns. The designs are intentionally uneven and retain the texture of lino prints.

Lindsay Alker has a long history in fashion, designing fashion and furnishing fabrics for over 20 years, working with Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, Christian Lacroix and many others. Throughout the 80's she designed fabric collections for Liberty of London and collaborated with Reiko Sudo of Nuno Corporation renowned for their innovative textiles.
