Kankan Woven

Designed and woven by women in Ghana, West Africa. 20% of profits return to local Ghana community.

All the patterns created by the Dagaaba women weavers are based on one original template, Kankan, that mimics the feathers of the Guinea fowl. The original patterns were woven in black and white and only more recently have other colors been introduced.
