Kapok Tree Woven
Designed and woven by women in Ghana, West Africa. 20% of profits return to local Ghana community.
The Kapok tree bears a white fluffy seed that is harvested and used locally to stuff mattresses. The Dagaaba inhabitants call it the cotton tree, although there’s no actual relationship between the tree and the cotton plants grown and harvested in northern Ghana.
