River Crossing Woven
Designed and woven by women in Ghana, West Africa. 20% of profits return to local Ghana community.
The Dagaaba people live in both Ghana and Burkina Faso and are separated by the Volta River. For longer than anyone can remember, politicians have been promising a bridge, but for now, the 50 meter crossing is made by dugout canoes. Market traders and travelers heap their goods into the wobbly craft and paddle from side to side.
